I flew down Egan on my way to work this morning, going 60 and creating a trail of mist. My wipers worked over time, battling the trail of mist from the car ahead, as well as the pounding rain. My car jerked with ever gust of wind. As I passed the wetlands, I admired it's sparseness and changing colors, as I do every time I pass it. In the small parking lot on the edge of the wetlands, three people stood in the freezing wind and rain holding "Vote NO on prop 2" signs.
I really hope they don't build a causeway straight through this place.
On the corner by my office building, a larger group was standing with "vote YES on prop 2" signs.
They get no pity from me.
Here are some shots from around town this past week..
Seagulls attacking the coast guard building!
Finally got to use my fog lights!
This past weekend, on our way to Freddy's, we saw the end of a rainbow. Alas, no pot of gold because the dang thing kept moving!
A favorite walk of mine, the Flume!
